You are probably reading this because someone has scanned your vehicle computer and come up with the above fault code. Additional symptoms quite often include the vehicle going into a limp mode.
Purchasing a TCC solenoid from Subaru is in a complete valve body assembly, at a cost in excess of $4500.
In many cases, here at Ashmore RWC, we’ve been able to remove the valve body and replace the individual faulty solenoid at less than half of this cost.
When carrying out this repair, we also replace the transmission filter and oil.
This is usually applicable on the TR580 CVT transmission where the valve body is located on the top.
