Suzuki Mechanic – common faults
Although Suzuki’s are an excellent vehicle all round they do have their fair share of repairs that are needed as they age:
- Suzuki engine light: the pesky engine light along with lack of power is the most common fault we come across on the Suzuki Swift. The repair is usually only a 1-2 hour repair putting your vehicle back on the road in no time.
- Suzuki clutch / brake pads: if your Suzuki Swift needs a new clutch or brake pads, this is carried out in-house and not subcontracted to another workshop.
- Suzuki wheel bearings: these are another common replacement. If your Suzuki gets a rumbling noise as you pick up speed, this could be a noisy wheel bearing which must be looked at immediately. Wheel bearings are an essential safety aspect of the car and complete failure of a wheel bearing can result in a wheel coming off the car. It’s is extreme but can happen.
Suzuki Swift
The Suzuki Swift is one of the most popular small cars on the market, due to their competitive price, reliability, and the fact they are Japanese-owned. Swifts are also one of the cheaper models when it comes to car maintenance. Suzuki Swift is the most common Suzuki model we see here at the workshop.
We love servicing and maintaining Suzuki’s. If you have any model of the Suzuki, such as the Swift, Baleno, Vitara, Grand Vitara, Alto or APV be sure to give us a call. We’re always happy to answer questions about your car and your specific needs.
