Toyotas are built to last
Recently we serviced an old Toyota Hilux with a whopping 571,000kms on the clock. Original Engine! The owner wants to make the 1,000,000 kms mark.
The highest that I have personally seen was on a Toyota Corolla AE101 Csi, it was a driving school vehicle and had 660,000klms on the clock. Serviced religiously every 5000 kms, shows that it pays to keep your car maintained.

Regular Toyota servicing and maintenance is essential
Unfortunately we recently had a Toyota Rav 4 that needed some serious TLC. It came in with a rattly engine and missed numerous oil changes, the oil hadn’t been replaced in 45,000 kms.
Lack of oil change and poor quality oil allows excessive carbon to build up, this in turn blocks the oil galleries that allow engine oil to flow through the engine and keep everything lubricated. No lubrication in an engine will only have detrimental results and cost the driver money. Don’t let that be you!
Toyota Control Arm Bushes
Toyota Camry 2003 – 2006 Front Control arm bushes; getting to the 10 + year age mark, we are regularly seeing these vehicles requiring new control arm bushes. To be clearer with the terminology, most mechanics will label them as the “rear bush on the front control arm”. The good news is that the bushes alone can be replaced, supplied and fitted, sometimes a wheel alignment will be required after the repair which would be an additional cost however we can advise on this after road testing your vehicle.
